
Joseph Ford is Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Marketing at NBCUniversal, where he serves as a primary legal partner to TV marketing teams, including NBC Entertainment and Bravo. He leads a team that supports marketing compliance, rights and clearances, and contract strategy for integrated, multi-platform campaigns. Joseph drafts and negotiates a high volume of agreements, including sponsorships and partnerships, co-promotions, influencer and talent releases, and promotional terms and conditions. Recent highlights include supporting BravoCon 2025, where his work covered sponsor and vendor agreements, consumer-facing ticket terms, and live event promotional compliance, as well as supporting Bravo Insider, Bravo’s fan engagement program, on vendor contracting and consumer disclosure considerations. He also helped build the NBC 100 rights and clearances framework for archival and excerpt use across NBC, NBC News, Sports, and Late Night programs, and developed and implemented generative AI vendor guidelines used across marketing productions to support responsible AI use. His work also touches on privacy and marketing compliance considerations that may arise under laws such as VPPA, CIPA, and TCPA.
