Heather Novitsky is a seasoned legal executive with nearly two decades of experience leading legal, compliance, risk management, and government affairs functions within the financial services sector. Currently serving as General Counsel at LendingTree, a publicly traded FinTech company, Heather is a trusted advisor to the C-suite and board, managing a high-performing legal and compliance team and navigating complex regulatory landscapes to support business growth and mitigate risk. Heather’s leadership has driven significant organizational wins, including defeating regulations, executing investment financing, implementing scalable compliance-driven solutions, and embedding a culture of proactive legal support across business functions. She has also been instrumental in positioning her company as a key industry voice through government relations and trade association development. She has held prior senior roles at Bank of America Merchant Services, Wells Fargo, and Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP, with a strong focus on global privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory affairs. Heather holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame. In her “free” time, Heather is also a full time Uber driver to her two active boys in Charlotte, NC, and is currently learning the competitive world of USTA junior tennis tournaments and increasing her knowledge of dinosaurs, particularly Spinosaurids.
